This is in stark contrast to almost every other mainline Wolfenstein title, where run and gun was not only doable but encouraged, with the exception of maybe Wolfenstein (2009). It's terrible, unless you stand still and crouch. Thank heavens I can quicksave, but I shouldn't have to do that in the first place, when MachineGames don't fail the player the moment they get spotted in their games.īut perhaps the biggest issue I have with this game, is the shooting accuracy. These are flatout terrible and shouldn't be in any game. So if you quicksave in bad spot without realizing it, back to the start of the mission you go. This ended up being the second worst mainline Wolfenstein game for me, first being Wolfenstein (2009).Įlite guards, Flamethrowers and Bosses are artificially difficult enemies at best, even on the easiest difficulty. With all that in mind, I had high expectations going into this one. Especially since, it's the only mainline title that I hadn't played aside from Youngblood. I don't want to do easy because it won't be as impressive and I don't want to do hard because I like not dying :PAfter having seen quite a few posts saying that this is the best game in the series, I knew I had to try it out. Thought I would bump this thread since I have started working on a SS run (normal). That is being very generous too I hope to get closer to 40 but 45 makes it a more realisted goal since it is a SS.
Right now I'm on mission 4 Part 2 I am hoping to attempt to do runs this weekend. Now it's a matter of getting it constant. Mission 5 Part 1 Had to come up with a safe strat since I couldn't get by without dying. I have been trick jumping in this game forever and thats one jump I could never make so I go through normally lose maybe 30 seconds by doing so but its better then wasting time trying to do a trick I cannot do.
Mission 4 Part 4 The two tricks on this level are balls to the wall (literally!) The first trick jump I can make and still saves time/ is safer then going through normally. I grab the dynamite because it makes the boss at the end of this Mission Easy mode. Then it comes down to if I make the jump at the end of the rail if I can keep that second or lose 2. Mission 1 Part 3 picked up one trick that is fast then Khans run but only by about a second. Mission 1 Part 2 I have only gotten the 4 required kills at the beginning (where the radio room is) and have adjusted my run of this part in case I don't get the AI cooperation that I want. I don't want to do easy because it won't be as impressive and I don't want to do hard because I like not dying
